Levittown Fire Company No. 2 welcomed runners, walkers, families and neighbors to our First Annual LFC2 5K & Family Fun Day on Saturday, September 19, 2026.
The event combined a professionally timed 5K and a one-mile family walk with a day centered on public safety, community connections and support for our 100% volunteer fire company.
A Morning of Fitness and Community
Participants gathered at the firehouse on County Way before the 5K and one-mile walk began. Runners challenged themselves on the timed course while walkers enjoyed a more relaxed way to take part alongside family and friends.
Whether they came to compete, walk or cheer from the sidelines, everyone helped create an encouraging atmosphere throughout the morning.
More Than a Race
The Family Fun Day brought the celebration back to the firehouse with live music, food and refreshments, local vendors, raffles, children's activities and fire-prevention demonstrations.
The event also gave residents an opportunity to meet LFC2 volunteers outside of an emergency and learn more about the people and organizations serving Levittown and Bristol Township.
Supporting Our Volunteer Fire Company
Levittown Fire Company No. 2 is a 100% volunteer organization. Support from the 5K & Family Fun Day helps our members maintain the equipment, training and operational readiness needed to respond when our neighbors need us.
Every registration, sponsorship, donation and visit contributed to that mission.
Thank You to Our Community
We extend our sincere appreciation to the runners and walkers, sponsors, vendors, community organizations, public-safety partners and volunteers who contributed their time and support.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who joined us. Your support strengthens the connection between our volunteer fire company and the community we are proud to serve.
We look forward to building on this first event and welcoming everyone back in the future.
